What is the action planning tool?
The action planning tool is used after the reflection in practice tool. It helps you to determine priorities for action in your program, based on potential impact and ease of implementation. It also supports you to generate concrete sub-actions to get started with your chosen approaches to enhance connectedness. Your aim may not be to move all areas of practice up to ‘integrated and sustainable’ – sometimes a small number of strategic moves from ‘aware’ to ‘exploring’, or from ‘developing’ to ‘established’ may yield the greatest impact for students and the program.
Who can use it?
The tool is designed for educators who are seeking to enhance graduate employability by improving the connectedness of their students, programs, and university organisational areas. It is designed for teachers of individual units or courses, convenors and leaders of degree and larger programs, and co-ordinators of co-curricular initiatives and programs.
